Country Fresh Pullets are a Shropshire based company that rear in excess of 7.5 million point of lay of pullets for the layer industry annually. The business consists of a combination of contract rearers and company owned sites that produce consistently excellent birds.
Steve Carlyle is a strong believer in a “belt and braces” approach to vaccination as a key part of ensuring the birds are well protected for when they arrive on the laying site and our involvement iscritical with the entire process being supported.

Over the last 20 years we are proud to have supplied the following services to support Country Fresh
- Regular vaccine storage, handling and administration training on both new contract rearing sites and the established rearing farms. The training includes stock solution charts, the method for successful water vaccination and all elements of storing and mixing vaccine.
- Administration of live vaccines by our experienced field support team. This includes coccidiosis vaccine application on delivery and the application of respiratory/bacterial vaccines.
- Serological observation.
- Monitoring programs
- Supporting the customers of CFP with vaccination training for laying site on the application of infectious bronchitis vaccines
- Our office team work with the team at to ensure the smooth supply and delivery of vaccines needed for the many rearing sites.
Recently there has been strong growth of new rearing sites that are contracted and supported by the field team at CFP. As part of a new pullet rearer coming on board we assist with equipping the site with all of the equipment needed for vaccine storage and administration.
